he did. i think the best thing Driskel did all year for you guys was take care of the football. he took way too many sacks, and had a lot of facepalm moments, but he never cost you guys games (until louisville). uf's biggest strength this year, imo was turnover differential. that was also fsu's biggest weakness. Jeff obviously played a huge role in that all year.

I don't care about the school they coach at. I care about their QB coaching ability and their eye for talent. Cutcliffe and fishers resumes speak for themselves when it comes to putting QBs in the league.

He was a FIRST YEAR STARTER playing the TOUGHEST SCHEDULE IN THE COUNTRY and he managed to finish 11-2.

Fsu fans love to brag about jimbo being a great coach, all because jamarcus and ponder were drafted way too high. Both were average in college, just like EJ. I do think Coker and Winston are good prospects though, but neither will do much with Jimbo and trickett running things.

What the players do in the nfl is not on their college coaches. Heath shuler, Peyton, Eli, Erik ainge, and Thaddeus Lewis are some of the guys he has coached who has played in the nfl. As for jimbo, he coached Matt Flynn, Jamarcus Russell, Christian ponder, and now ej Manuel. That's 10 qbs that have played in the nfl that were coached by either fisher or cutcliffe.

Nolebrave be serious with that. You named 2 qbs that are great and both would be great QB with or without coach cutcliffe and the rest are fresh hot trash. Lets be serious and look more at who has the same name and see if that has more to do with it.
