LOL what was up with BD? apparently the echo was throwing them off but he sounded very odd and unintelligible
quick thoughts --
PY is more of a BEAST than last yr if even possible, seems to still have basketball flexibility - not clear if offensive game better
WY, Murphy took to strength training,,,,got to assume Prather was with them grinding
WY showed some game on offense, kid gets better every game out -- his best basketball is in front of him,,,same for Murphy
KB is not a PG , he is barely functional getting team into sets and isnt strong pushing the ball IMO but his 3 ball looks good still
Braxton showed some wiggle...kid will be a good one in future
Frazier did some good things out there, looks like a SG - great size, got some rebounds and has some length...Dev Walker optimistic he is going to be a good 4 yr kid / same for Graham
as for Mike Ro - really disappointed, feels like his best basketball is in his rearview mirror - doesnt look like he has seen the inside of a gym, puzzled as to why he didnt come out stronger/more complete player post PR intl play

Yea I'm pumped....billy is recruiting very well as of late he kind of dropped off for a few years...and he is taking a lot of transfers. Its like he got a second wind or something. He seems hungry for another title run and honestly to me thid may be the year. We are every bit as good as any team in the country and i watched UK....we can beat that team. And ill take billy as coach in the tourney over almost any coach....go gators.

How isn't Boynton a complete player? He's a good defender, a great shooter, and a solid distributor for a SG (he's not a PG, though).

do not think THIS years team is as good as elite teams in country for simple fact we dont have a go to guy who can get his own buckets, ie a lotto pick you can hand ball to in clutch and he can take over -- Beal was that in some respects last yr, sort of like Otto Porter is for GTown and Proythress will be for sUK
we have a nice collection of upper class guys who are good at some things and deficient at other things that keep them from being considered truly elite.....only guy on paper on roster RIGHT NOW IMO is P Young that can possibly take over a game T Robinson style but hasnt shown any of it to date to think he can be T Robinson other than physical appearance/athleticism
Anthony Bennett could have been that true matchup nightmare/ 3/4 guy who took over games for us if had signed him...damn shame didnt work out
no question we can be a solid cohesive unit that complements one another and makes up for teammates deficiencies in order to put together a top 10 caliber season but just dont see a team that has anyone to take over games/stress a defense and win tight ones for us

I think boynton can create his own. Murphy to me is our key... He has to be a go to guy.
