cut his list to 6. UF is on his list.
It's UF, UK, UofL, butler, ucla, and duke. Unfortunately I know he loves uk. Was at their game Saturday. He was a former IU commit.

This guy thinks he's a UK lock...
@RecruitKentucky: Trey Lyles has cut his list to 6 Schools, and UK is one of them. I'd say he is about as much of a UK lock as they come. Great player.

Tape looks great. Looks like he has an all around offensive game the kind of player who can score in a multitude of ways. A lot of guys can dunk and shoot but from what I see he can back down and hit the turn around jumper and has a good drive and pop in the mid range. Ball handling looks solid too. Obviously would fit the Chandler Parsons role in the HM offense well. As far a recruitment goes its going to be tough as always to beat UK/Cal.

Rumors were his dad wants to be affiliated with Nike products, not Adidas. IU completey stopped recruiting the kid, so something went down. UK is going to be tough to beat.
