  • Fellas, Yes this Biddle guy is a first rate hack and a poor rep of 247 and actually 2 years behind, but just let it play out.
    This is garbage journalism at its finest that shows it self in the offseason every year.
    Unlike the OSU fans, we all know Meyer does not have the assistants or players he needs to compete.
    He said it, we know it,everyone knows it, its no secret. His staff is 2nd rate and he is running at 3/4 speed. He
    will do very well in the Big 10 but who would not? Hell Al Golden would win in the Big 10. Let this stuff run its course
    and eventually the issues will become reality again. Meyer will either be happy with what they are, or he will make the fatal
    step of getting what is needed to win a NC and that will end his career. OSU is under a microscope so his hands are tied
    right now to do what he does best but he will have to make that decision soon, or maybe not. OSU fans are happy with
    winning 9 games and not competing for NCs.

    OSU you will not be a threat for a National title, and if they are Meyer's days will be numbered, or he will have to hire an entirely new staff.
    They may get to the game, but they won't win it anytime soon.

    So now your trying to just guess on attrition. Which also assumes a certain number of those players leaving were the ones with criminal records. Additionally criminal records could be all the way back to when they were kids or adolescents. So in other words your math, and logic, sucks a big fat dick.

    That wasn't the point. It was mentioned, quite a few times, that Muschamp basically was gift wrapped a ready built contending team. And it keeps getting pointed out that UF won 11 gms, as proof.

    Well, Meyer was the one actually handed the keys to a ready made championship team.

    I think what a lot of outsiders don't know, is that even when Florida was winning the big ones, Meyer had a lot of fans questioning him.

    It's not like he left and people started disliking him out of nowhere.

    I'm curious about whether Meyer was ever truly accepted at UF. He was following a legend and he had no prior history with UF, kinda like John Cooper was never truly accepted by a good portion of fans at OSU. It's easier to hate on the outsider than on one of your own.

    I tried to contact Matt multiple times and he did not want to discuss the story. I tried to talk to him right after it ran in April of 2012 and also last week. He declined my request in April of 2012 and ignored multiple emails and DM's on Twitter last week.

    He knows better than anyone that Florida's program was never "broken." He just thought he had an excuse to run a hit piece on Meyer.
