Uf will never lose again. Happy? We need omprovemet at wr for sure and a wr coach is very needed. Qb coach as well. Never liked coaches doing multiple jobs..makes it easier on pease to just focus on gameplanning and execution and not doing another fifty hour job of qb coach as well. Guy who is hired as just qb coach can spend countless hours exclusively on improving one position...pease has to worry about the whole offense...not one position.

And agreed....our oline needs a ton of improvement....we can't block any form of stunt blitzes...thid oline looked awesome but has regressed considerably since lsu. Tyler Moore coming in and humpries getting a full offseason should help a ton though so I'm actually not as worried about oline next year. But wr we have to improvement because we quill always have talent there...we are Uf....wr is the one position we should always have 3-4 deep talent wise. Spurrier always did, Meyer did, even zook got great wide outs....we have them...dunbar with a good wr coach is a great wide out....positions well, gospel hands, good strength...we just need better coaching there.

ryan, do not be foolish. There's many people on this site who are realistic. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with what the 2 people that responded to your OP said. Also, I didn't give you a DV, so sorry, but I'll hit you with an UV.

Again like I said. The OC and DC have to have a position group. You cant just have unlimited coaches.

The only thing up for true debate is the WR coach position.

Which I would like some continuity. We have had 4+ over 4 years.

As soon as Hamden was hired as WR coach vs. GA Assistant we do not have any openings...

The scenario assumes that Hamden will not be retained or will go back to GA assistant, but if I were him and he was going back down I'd parley a year as WR coach at Florida into a real job somewhere.

So the assumption is that you'd have an opening with a need for WR or QB coach. Pease definitely will double up as QB coach and what it seems to me is that he and WR coach kinda coach as a unit for the WR and QB's as they are always practicing together anyway.

I dont think its coaching hnestly... I think its our interior play... just dont have the athletes. The good news is that we have immediate upgrades happening next season. Tim Davis is a great Oline coach... especially for the style we want to play. The Trojans have always raved about him as a coach years after he left.

I hope so. Dunker will be a good guard I think and I think we have the tackles of the future with Moore and of course humpries. Inside we really do need more talent...we've recruited the big names....just no results from players like Wilson and patchan.

How is Davis not the answer? Our OL has been garbage for what, 2 years now, maybe 3. Look at all the guys that we still have on the OL that have started over the last couple years. Halapio, Harrisson, Wilson, etc. They're just no good.
