Dooley was atleast the 7th HC offered last time-it is obvious that this is not a great job and that the UT AD is over their heads

Yeah Dooley was a very low down the list hire. The job being offered 3 years ago was 20 times worse than the job being offered now. Tennessee has everything to sell to recruits that it could possibly need. The only thing Dooley couldn't sell was winning and his own coaching ability. Multiple 5 star recruits have already said if UT hires Strong they would strongly consider Tennessee. Every big program has ups and downs. You guys were down for a year or two until Muschamp was hired. Tennessee will be fine with Strong or Fedora. If we don't land either of them we're in trouble.

Much better off with Strong probably, but Fedora would be a solid hire.

Yes he is. I just told my friend this is about to turn into a bidding war between Tennessee and Louisville. It's okay though apparently we have to power to offer people partial ownership of the Browns?

hahaha can you blame us? We're tired of losing. We need a good who knows how to win in the SEC and we feel like Strong is our guy. If an announcement is not made within the next 3 hours that Strong is our new coach we might have some fans jumping off of bridges in Knoxville.

If Strong stays, look for him to get a big extension... He really can't lose in this situation. UT is doing a lot of coaches a big favor, even Jimbo got an extension out of it...

Well that's just a heart-breaking decision for us Vols fans. There's not many names left ... Petrino? maybe Greg Roman. I think he has a lot of interest in the job. Knoxville will be a quite city tonight.... represent the SEC well in the BCS bowl guys. Go SEC. ..... we'll continue to be distraught and cursed and whatever the hell else you wanna call it.
