Tennessee fans

  • Every year think they beat the Gators. I mean Tenn has been like a warm up to us since 06. They have no run game which is by far our weakness on defense and a pocket qb. Our pass rush will be all over bray....if we can pressure all game against the aggies with their incredible line...we can certainly pressyre Tenn.

    They beat nc state and think they are top ten and beating Uf by 20. Sad fan base.

  • They don't realize floridas secondary is considered one of the best in the nation.

    Imagine the pressure on bray...we got through the aggies line all day and they have one of the best in the country....a very good career dline coach as cord with six five star linemen....it may be unfair by the end of the year. Especially if Powell comes back, though mccray was awesome last game.

  • Vols got a good offense this year, it's going to be a very tough game this weekend.

    Lets not forget we just won a big game on the road @ A&M, they played GA Southern.

    They'll be well rested for us.

    Personally, I really like what I've seen out of Raijon Neal at tailback this year. And Marlin Lane isn't terrible.

  • To me it's the same Tenneessee team as last year, good QB, good WRs, ok O Oline, below average running game. UF got pressure on Bray and made him throw some bad passes last year I expect they do the same thing. If Gilly is good to go Muschamp is going to run it right at them and keep Bray off the field.

  • Our dline got great pressure vs maybe the best oline in the game at Texas. We forced man out of the pocket very quickly. I really like our dline this year and mccray was getting right past a top tackle in the second quite often. Tenn has to run a lot of draws I think to keep our line honest.

  • Tennessee's O line is much better at pass blocking than run blocking. Their RBs have looked descent but overall against the stronger teams it will be exposed. We just need to capitalize on that and start the exposure.

    Plus Maggit has turf toe and that takes forever to heal.

  • Think Bray will make a few mistakes if we get after his ass a little.Easier target than the tamu qb was no mobility.

    This is why I think we match up very well. (but I have no delusions Powell will be back)

    Champ said in his post game that our DLine is very aggressive and early in the TAMU game they were attacking the QB leaving run lanes for him to squeeze through. Bray, is no Manziel (sp) and that aggressive DLine will be allowed to pursue and not just hold the point. Bray is a great arm talent and nothing else and will go down, or be affected, frequently . Florida will play nickel and dime packages and get pressure on Bray all day with exotic pressures. Bray will be running for his life on many downs...
    With that said, Tennessee will score points and Bray is not to be taken lightly. They have some very good receiving talent and like Goldkamp said, their RB position isn't exactly turrible like last year. I think this will be a good game and Tennessee will prove to be a good test, but Florida's defense will dominate when it matters. But, don't be surprised when Bray throws for close to 300 yards. Like last week, Pease will do just enough with Driskel to pull out the win.

    My biggest concern right now is Gillislee's health. If he can't go, Pease will have to earn that paycheck of his with some very inventive playcalling. There is not another back on the team who can get up the field the way Gilly can.

    very true, not the fastest guy in the world but he has the bit of height to have better sight for passing when he is hurried.

    For those of you on the MB, you already know how they act. I had forgotten how they act when they think they're good. They're not far off from Miami fans.. Terrible football knowledge, arrogant/cocky, rude, delusional.. Even back in the 90's they'd have an excuse for why we beat their asses every year. Now we're going for 8 in a row and they're the ones talking smack.. lol

  • I have two acres on the tellico lake in Vonore area south of Knox. I guess my neighbors that I see while Im there are all professional and I dont go to those areas or draw that kind of response. My whole family wears their UF gear and we have a great time on the water and around town.

    Folks have more against me for driving a ski 200 made by Nautique b/c Mastercraft is built there than they do b/c Im a Gator

    I am not one of these 'delusional' fans you speak of. You guys have been beating the crap out of us for the last 7 years. I think a lot of Vol fans are hyped up becuase we feel like this is our best chance to beat you guys in a long time. And it is our best chance. We had a good chance to do it last year but losing Hunter really hurt us bad in that game. Last year was just bad for us all around. Then again the last 5 years have been bad for us all around.

    Should be a good game regardless of what we say or what you guys say(at least I hope its a good game).

    I had a lot of respect for Meyer until he left the way he did. I had a lot of respect for Spurrier until he left. You guys have had some great teams and a lot of great players pumped into the NFL. Really glad you guys beat A&M(I really hate teams outside of the SEC). Good luck on Saturday!!
