Florida signed the No. 1 class in 2008, then "two years later, that No. 1 class drove Urban Meyer to retirement.”

he is getting beat down this year by Clem$on though...they are taking the best in state talent from him..maybe recruits feel he won't be there much longer or something cause he usually does better.

think he meant 2010
and he's right more then half that class left in about a yr or 2 altho 2008 was a big bust too with some big time DT's leaving urban sure as hell had alot of kids transfer

Meyer retired in 2010.

whatever class it was that had elam, floyd, etc
along with josh shaw, chris dunkley, lynden trail all those guys that left theres really too many to name
but 08 did was a bust too

Between 2008 and 2010 it's a wonder we didn't fall farther. The list of DT washouts alone is enough to make you cringe.

2010 did give us some talent...but blame coaching changes a lot too. Can't just blame the kids I blame the Meyer being a douche and the ego of the kids because of Meyer.
2010 class could have been special...thank Meyer for recruiting it, then screwing it up ;/.
