Elam, Powell and Floyd in one day. Just after Easley and a couple others at the under armor game. Yeah, that was a good week. I still think we missed on more than a few on NSD though. One of them being Jordan Hicks to Muschamp and co. Then there was Christian Green and Christian Jones. Though I don't think anyone thought Green was going anyway but fsu. Missing out on those two LBs hurt, but the prior year, we had Jenkins and Bostic.

2009 and 2010 were the first years I followed gator recruiting but I didn't know who these guys were before they committed. I would just see the bottom where it says "Considering: UF, USC, ND....." and be like I hope this kid picks UF. Now we all know where most of these kids are going months in advance. 2010 was great though because it seemed like everyone was committing to UF.

I was same way. 2010 was first year starting to look at recruiting and only then I looked at signing day and didn't have any idea who anyone was but that we got a lot of high ranked players. I do remember seeing Tebow commit on tv too and thought that was cool, little did I know how huge a impact he would make here.

I was in Atlanta at the time, watching the game on a projector and each time they were about to commit. I would put on my Gator hat at the same time. Lol Boy did I jump for joy when Floyd, Powell, and Elam put the Gator hat on.

I started following in 2011, when it seemed like no one wanted to be a Gator.
But I do remember seeing Floyd on First Take doing an interview saying he was going to UF. Didn't realize he was going to be that good!

Not really sure what was the reason behind Jeffcoat but Elam was the reason Tony Jefferson couldn't commit or take OV. It worked out well for us in the end...Elam lived up to his 5* billing and Farrel was right about the wholes in TJ game. Still would have loved to see Elam and TJ back there together but Evans became a solid FS for us.
