Sec streak may have come to an end

  • I don't care about the SEC streak if UF isn't the team winning the MNC. It's cool to see SEC teams there every year but I could care less if the streak ends.

  • I care about the streak only because it pumps the conference up which in turn helps Uf. That streak may be the reason Uf has a miracles hopr at a ncg. Say Florida beats fsu....bama beats Georgia....uf will then be ranked ahead of both by a wide margin on the comps i think...and if we beat Fsu and bama looks bad vs Georgia humans may pick us aa best in sec....two of those three unbeatens could very easily lose...so its a long shot but man it is possible....remember 06...in the bathroom at the sec title game watching Usc lose to ucla....causr I do....and its possible again.

    One-loss Alabama with an SEC title win would be ahead of one-loss Florida, I'm almost positive about that.

    No, we don't. We just pulled off a magic trick win against the mighty Louisiana-Lafayette from the Sun Belt conference. Yes, our resume is nice but not nice enough. Offensively, we have been going backwards. I will consider finishing with a win over the School out West a great season. Capital one bowl bound.

  • We beat Fsu and we are a bcs team....you thinking otherwise just proves you clearly have no basic knowledge of how the bcs poll or bowl selections are done. But keep using that great logic to put square pegs in round holes there champ. Deserved or not...sixth right now and just moved up and beating Fsu moves us to top one loss in bcs polls yes over georgia till seccg...where loser wont jump us because you don't think we deserve it. Thanks.

    Yep. Human voters won't give two craps we almost lost and bcs comps will rank us two or three ahead. Bama should fall to six. If they don't It's cause voters put them as top one loss...which would be absurd considering they struggled two straight weeks. Georgia should be top one loss followed by Florida than bama. If not that's insane.

    Florida will not be ahead of Alabama in the human polls, I can almost promise you that. How you can say Alabama should drop when they've struggled for two straight weeks and not apply the same logic to Florida is beyond me. Struggling but beating Missouri and Louisiana on end-of-game plays is worse than beating LSU and barely losing to Texas A&M.
