This seems to go along with what Tyson tweeted yesterday saying "Even if UF offers, theres alot of ground to make up."
Some kids just hold grudges instead of seeing things for what they are. Hopefully if he does get his offer, he won't let something petty like this keep him from going where he wants to be. Didn't this happen with a longtime Gator fan a few years ago? I remember there being a kid we offered late who everyone assumed would be a Gator, but the offer came too late and he held his grudge. Can't remember who though.

but burning bridges at a HS can set a program back ask Miami..Just hope that Callahan continues to support UF....we still haven't recovered at Plant even with a coaching change.

yeah we dropped the ball bc imo an offer should have been extended. Staff has given out plenty of offers that aren't committable atp but not giving Bailey on was a mistake. Name the last time FSU or UM got a stud from Armwood even when that player was leading their way come NSD they were Gators. Now this could open a door to that talent for our main rivals like FSU and UGA. Sometimes you have to look at the big picture. SC can't even step foot on a few schools in Atl bc of burned bridges..same goes for UGA a few years back at Carver Columbus...booster had to force the HC hand.

Agreed, if he wants to play that game he will NEVER get a offer from UF.. And then we can see how happy he REALLY is with all his new offers..

It is what it is...UF is looking for a certain type of WR/ATH obviously and Bailey seems to be playing the game... I would love to see Bailey in this class but like Luke said, he ain't Sammy Watkins.
On to the next one and if the kid REALLY wants to be at UF he wont move so fast or commit elsewhere to soon.

still don't understand how "he's playing the game"...he was a fall back for UF and in error I staff showed him he was a fall back. Now for whatever reason the staff wants to recruit him. If Bailey was your kid would you tell him to hold off or slow play teams that have been recruiting him from day 1 bc UF has him on the radar now? It's the nature of the beast even Meyer made mistakes on the trail.
