I didn't say nuffin'. I've made it clear that I didn't think Boyle was worthy of a commitable offer, and it looks like our coaches didn't think so either. We don't NEED to take a top tier kid this cycle, and probably won't. I'll be happy if we get a high upside kid like Woulard. I think that's all we require.
When one of our super sophs leaves, you'll see UF in the mix for top tier kids. This is not a reflection on Pease, but on our depth chart. Other schools show recruits a UF QB depth chart that has 5 players (including Guy) that are junior or younger, and 2 top 10 kids who are only Sophs. I think it's unrealistic to think that with that deth chart we'd sign a top tier QB.
But I could be mistaken and you are certainly entitled to your opinion that Pease is already a failure. I simply think that's a premature determination being driven mostly by emotion rather than detached analysis.
