Picking apart some AP votes

Thought it was interesting to look at some of the AP voters this week. Here are a few that jump out at me.
Andy Staples has Florida No. 12 ... and has Texas A&M No. 2. Say what?
Meanwhile, Florida State's highest vote? No. 3 by the Tallahassee Democrat's Ira Schoffel.

I know Ira. Good guy.
He and I worked together at the Alligator back in the early 1990s with Gregg Doyel and Alex Marvez.
Ira once was Chris Doering's roommate. Doering already has been making fun of him on Twitter for that vote

I know people give the BCS crap but it really is a good way to rank teams. Like Thomas said one guy put UF 12 but TAMU 2?

I know Andy is a Gator and all.... but what a fricken moron... UF is 3-1 against Top 10 schools yet they are not a Top 10 school?
I feel some of the UF writers and UF grads in the media are so worried about being called UF Homers that they hate on UF way more than necesarry... while you got the FSU beat writers voting for them as #3.

Andy Staples has really turned me off this year. His power rankings are a nothing more than poor comedy. Must be the life getting paid for that type of work.
