...good luck to your son, mine is taking it as well. I never took ACT so don't know that much about it. Is he doing any prep for it, duke? Mine isn't, told him that there is no pressure, just go in and do your best. When I did TIP, I ended up taking it every year until 11th grade and it went up each time pretty significantly (started real low!). I think a lot of the TIP benefit is getting used to the test and learning how to take it. That will be the big benefit when it really starts to count...
