OT: Gibbons' Friday Night Project

due to the weather down here cancelling the stacy coley vs cardinal gibbons show Ive decided to make it a homemade sushi night. First time I've done this, not mrs gibbons' first though(save your jokes jerkoffs)
Rolling with some tuna, salmon, crab sticks and halibut. I needed a white fish and the guy behind the counter recommended halibut, we'll see if he was just trying to poison me or not.
I will update this thread on my progress as I am bored out of my mind and the saki is warming up so I am fully sober

The girlfriend has been trying to coax me into going out for it. I'm taking her fishing in the morning and we've set a wager. If she catches > 5 fish, I eat sushi and get a mani/pedi. If she catches < 5 fish, she has to wash my truck after I take it mudding.

I'm from the wood so I haven't been exposed to it. There's literally no sushi joints anywhere around. But we'll be over near Ft Myers and she's already researched a few spots. We'll see.

went down into chucktown and had some sushi tonight! Tuna and Shrimp nigiri for me with some sapporo and kirin on draft
