Can someone post them beside the old ones? I can't tell anything looks different.

I think they'll look much better with "cooler" numbers like singles, or 22 or something like that. 55 Looks pretty lame no matter what the font.

It appears that UF is going to the sublimated twill numbers. Uniform manufacturers have developed this style to make the jerseys lighter and to allow the numbers stretch more with the jersey.

In previous years jerseys, in order to get the white/royal/orange scheme of the numbers (on the blue jersey for instance), the manufacturer had to layer and sew 3 sets of twill fabric on top of each other (each color has it's own layer).

If these are the new sublimated style numbers, then it is 1 piece of twill fabric instead of 3, but each color is dyed into the single piece of fabric and sewn to the jersey in whatever pattern is chosen creating a lighter jersey.

It was also developed for teams to use custom number designs such as camo designs, or gator scales inside the numbers, etc.
