This is sure to thrill all the Florida fans. Urban had dinner with Tebow recently to try to get his help recruiting for Ohio State.

Called this back when Urban took the OSU job... was gonna make his ex players choose between him and UF... he doesnt view them as Gators but as "Urbanites." It was kind of telling that none of the former players in the NFL (as far as I know) went up to train with Coach Mick in Columbus this summer when you know Urb was tryin like hell to get them to.
I wouldnt be shocked to see him try and hang 06 and 08 championship banners in the Ohio State Stadium.

Don't think this is even a big issue.
Besides, Tebow's been out of college 3 years and isn't doing squat in the NFL right now. So HS kids don't even think he's that big a deal. Maybe a few, but not a lot
They're all about Cam and RGIII right now.

What's messed up is that I'm pretty sure it's against NCAA rules for Tim to recruit for the Gators, but its completely legal for him to recruit for OSU.

Love the fact that Tebow was portrayed to just focus more on the meal than actually being quoted as saying "OK Urban, I'll do it". I'm sure he would tell recruits Urban is a great coach, but doubt he will ever say "you should go to Ohio St" to a recruit that's from Florida that UF is also looking at.

Actually, the columnist writes like he is just assuming that was what Urban was doing. There is one sentence on it and no proof. Just an assumption. That's it.
Seems more like two friends having dinner together in NYC.
