Just learned that UVa didn't pursue him because he "didn't fit what they were looking for" at the position, meaning he couldn't run well enough ... of course I know that if a kid is wanted so bad by UF and USCe then should be good enough to play for Virginia, so I thought that was interesting.
Has anyone seen him play?

Kid's a stud. Really like his combination of athleticism and versatility. Kid's got the frame to be 250+ pounds.

Yes, but that was a different defense / coaching staff.
Just thought it was weird they didn't go after one of their own state's best players. Really hope they were wrong about him.

If there's on thing Rolin CAN do, it's run. Guy is ridiculously athletic with a huge frame and incredible explosive power. Sounds like a (badly formed) excuse to me.

Rolin is going to be a force as a blitzing OLB at Florida. Great character and if he stays healthy, will play in the NFL imo.

Honestly he's just big and fast and hits people.... we can teach the rest.... didnt see much bad in his film... maybe the only thing is not enough tape against 2 back sets... but thats not his fault.... love to see him against fullbacks and see whether he still makes plays...

2 things to remember--he is coming off knee surgery so who knows how anyone will respond to that especially the first year.
Several schools want him to play TE (including USC), he is not happy with that.
