From what I read it seems like pops has had him penciled into UT for awhile
However they lost their coach and QB and arw going to the spread option soo I don't get it

I think Jones will do a good job with him. You guys have to keep in mind that winning championships isn't priority #1 for every recruit.
I don't see much wrong with his decision.

Absolutely crucial IMO. He wanted to play in the SEC, but a spread O is a little strange. He could have gone anywhere and had a legit chance to start.
