I know I am not the first one to say this but man are we lucky to have great mods and better journalists on our Gator site. Reading the other thread just makes me appreciate our insiders even more.

They are UF fans but they write articles from a journalistic point of view, leave their feelings with their women

I am embarrassed for that OSU writer and the 247 network after that thread last night. I have never seen a writer act as unprofessionally as he did in that thread and I was a member of Scout for 2 years with Vogt and Simmons so that is saying something. The fact that he lied about how many OSU fans were being banned from this board in attempt to make Luke and Thomas look bad was a disgrace and I am glad Luke called him out on it.
I really appreciate the fact that we have two journalists on this board who can cover UF sports without being fanboys, act with dignity when visiting other boards, and have good reputatations in the industry for being unbiased and professional.

Listen, Matt Hayes needed to be called out for that disgusting piece of drivel. If UF fans (and even a writer on the UF site) want to defend Matt Hayes like he's current member of their program, good for them. Hayes is/was clearly upset that Meyer left Florida and went to OSU. It's that simple.
Love you guys. Thanks for keeping it respectful over there. I didn't see anything out of line that deserved bans.
Disappointing we can't have some legitimate banter without it turning into a junior high slap fight. I apologize to any of our subscribers who received bans over there that did nothing wrong."

Appreciate the kind words.
The phrase "agree to disagree" is a great one that needs to be used more often in place of bickering back and forth.

You really have nothing to apologize for, he just needs to get UM nuts out of his mouth. We provided plenty of points where he couldn't argue against. It's was just amazing that he never understood our view of the situation. One thing is sure, the buckeyes will be back here lurking
