Do you guys think Muschamp would leave UF for Texas once Mack is gone? One of the only jobs out there that would be considered better than UF is Texas, but I still don't see Muschamp wanting to leave. Interested to hear your guys' thoughts though...

I didn't want Muschamp at first, i wanted Haurbaugh or Chris Petersen which both were obviously not candidates.
Muschamp had a great year, and the program looks to be in good hands BUT it is only year 2 and i will need to see a few more season before i compare Muschamp on the level of Spurrier or Urban Meyer.
Ive been impressed with the coaching job we've done on defense, the offense leaves a lot to be said but to be fair we've had injuries, a new OC and a new QB.
We'll see how this team responds next year and when some guys on defense leave.
So far the hire has been a good one, but we'll see how Muschamp does next year and in the following years.

I was ok with Boom as a hire but did not see it as a home run. Agree with CLF4L that we need to see we need to give it another couple of years but more to see how his recruits develop.
Two concerns I have going forward. One is controlling his "passion" when a call does not go his way or a player makes a mistake; I will leave it for Foley to continue to work with Muschamp on this; he does seem a bit more in control this year. I would hate to see us lose a good coach because he grabbed the wrong player at the wrong time.
Secondly, as a fan I want more access and less coach speak when we get it. I know this is up to Muschamp and there is less complaining this year than last because or our record and we have become use to it.

Absolutely not. You don't leave a Top 3 job for another one, unless you are an alum. That, plus we play in the SEC and Champ wants to be in the SEC. Nobody will steal him, and I doubt anybody even tries so they won't get embarassed when he says NO. Foley would do everything to keep him as well, and could he have a better boss or surroundings? NO!!
