Reporting this a.m. Cal says this is a 1 game season for KY today. It's do or die today. Sports headline reads; Beat Florida or bust!
Putting a ton of pressure on these Freshman & players today.
I knew coming up here basketball was king, but man-game day is huge. Went to breakfast decked out in Gator gear-all the KY folks decked in Cat gear kept saying go Cats. They were all cool & polite! When I got up to leave-they all said it again! I just smiled, held up my index finger & replied Gatorbait! It got real quiet & somber quick!!
Gators last win here was in 2007. Gators have not lost when either my wife or I have attended a Gator game this season. We've been to 18 games!
Looking forward to "disRuppting" the Cats day here in Lex!

I'm not so sure beating UF today gets them in. I think a lot of people realize that UF does not have a ton to play for today(does have something to play for). This UK team did nothing OOC or on the road this year.

Cal tweeted that he wants the entire crowd to stand starting at the 8:00 timeout in the second half. He knows this could be a bad day for him! HAHA

Folks I am worried UK needs a win. NCAA needs them in tourney for ticket sales. Young and Murphy 2 fouls by 10:00 mark in first half book it. It's how the SEC and NCAA role!!

Davis went for 200k. I'm not sure Bama shells out that kind of money.

I stay there almost every time I'm in Lexington.
Live two hours from Lex but can't make it due to some work issues. So excited for this game.

Beating UF may not get them in but not beating UF would punch their ticket to the NIT unless they can win the SEC tourney

Well-sitting in Louisville airport waiting on flt. Man am I terribly shocked at how the game ended in Lex. Had a 57-50 lead & KY on the ropes & the crowd ready to hit the exits-then we go bi-polar with crazy ass passes & mised gimme shots! Hope I'm wrong, but very concerned about the team composure in close games in the last 4 min. And KY sucks! We literally gave this game away-served it up on a silver platter. But sitting there in Rupp, as we let the crowd back in the game & it got crazy loud-you could see our guys really lose their composure & come unglued really bad. Really worries me headed into the tourneys. Team has lost somethiing in the past 6 weeks. Need to reboot their confidence level. KY is just not good this year. And we weren't either today! Hoping for a better week next week. Dang-stll can't believe what I just watched. Cat fans thanked the Gators after the game. Even they couldn't believe the outcome!

He needs to tell the guys to just play ball. Also, we need asses in the stands to yell for our Gators. Cheer them on, it helps! Whose going to Nashville and probably Dayton?

Think I heard something along the lines they were told they need to figure out what to do at the end of close games, have to make baskets, protect the ball, play smart, ect...Just figure out what to do-how to close out.
He can't do it for them. It's a mental thing. Champions have it, runner ups normally don't. There are a lot of talented athletic kids at the D-1 level. Some have a mental edge, some don't.
I think most all of the Gator players have played on Championship teams somewhere in their careers. They just need to draw back on those moments & rely on their past experiences in order to regain their edge. And they need to get some ''mojo'', ''swag'' & their confidence back. If they can, they will advance & that's all we want them to do now is keep advancing forward.
