A last minute article before Randles announcement. From what his HS Coach is saying it doesn't appear that any of the four coaches know Randles choice.

Naturally, the talk and predictions have focused on KU and UK and the rumors that he has already silently verbaled to UK have spread as well as a large portion of the media/fans who think he is KU bound. The fact that both sides are so sure they get him leads me to beleive nobody really knows but Julius and his family. I think a Texas or Florida pick wouldnt be as suprising as the media has built it up to be. Naturally KU is a close to home blue blood and UK is the mecca for incoming NBA 1 year talent but I also think that Texas would be right there with the medias picks if they were any good currently. I think UF gets written off just because UF is viewed as a step down basketball-wise from KU and UK. I think the media and fanbases have churned the pot enough to make this seem like a UK/KU battle but I think if that was the case he would have eliminated UF and TX instead of dragging their recruiting efforts this far knowing he wasnt going there. I still honestly feel like we have a shot. In the end I wouldnt be suprised with any of the 4 schools and thats why he is still considering all 4 in my opinion
