Both Harrison twins are the same player. They don't pass the ball. Hill is a traditional PG. You see how much trouble they are having this year with the same type of player in Goodwin.

Exactly, after following football recruiting for more than a decade I became smart enough to pencil in every 6+ CB recruit at FS or SS. Now sure there are very rarely some 6'+ CBs in the NFL, but again they are rare.

The same is true of 6'5" PGs. There are some. But you can never tell who is one in AAU ball. And I also agree UK is putting together possibly the best class of SF/SG I have ever seen. PG not so much but I saw earlier today a UK fan suggesting they might add a lower ranked in state PG.

he is already one of the most well-paid coaches in the NCAA. i doubt money will make that big of a difference. Billy has it all in gainesville and make more money than anyone can dream off. UCLA is a great program but Billy wont go all the way across the country at this point in his life and with his son coming in next year.

Yeah, I'd be slightly worried if his son didn't just transfer here.

I wouldn't. If Kentucky can come calling twice and get turned down twice, I don't think any other school stands a chance. I laughed so hard at all the NC State fans up here thinking they could get Billy a few years ago and he would bring Beal with him. Actually, i'm still laughing

There's rumors on the UCLA board that the Bruins will throw money at Billy D once the season is over .

lol no way he is leaving for UCLA

  • Billy has already turned down the NBA and Kentucky. He's not going anywhere. The court at the O-Dome will be named after him some day.

His son could easily go with him but I'm still not concerned. The only thing that would concern would be if Jeremy Foley retired.

Honestly I don't know much about them other than they are listed as the number 1 PG and SG. Also Goodwin is not their point. Harrow is suppose to, and Polson backs him up. Goodwin only plays the point because the other two suck so bad. He is strictly a SG on the next level.

Either way I hate UK, and ask long as they keep bringing in a new 7 man rotation every year they will have issues like this.

  • Not to mention the team that he's put together for next year. If he was going to leave (he's not), this DEFINITELY wouldn't be the year.

  • The only thing Harrison has over Hill is there are two him. Kasey is better....... plain and simple.

Just got word from a good source it's down to KS & KY. I say KS. Hated to hear, but it is what it is. Maybe hope for divine intervention, but not expecting any!!

donovan tried but he couldnt close.

hindsight is 20/20 but with Walker's situation in the air at this point, Donovan should not of went after Parker and Randle. he should of took Rimmer!! we werent going to have a great chance at those players anyway!!

  • What exactly what Billy was supposed to do with Rimmer? Didn't he already commit but decide later he didn't like the playtime opportunities here?

    Jonas

  • Coach will not leave Florida Basketball for any other school. He could go NBA one day. However, so much of that decision IMO would be left up to his wife. She LOVES G'ville as does coach. His son's in the program now. Don't know how old their youngest is but until he/she is off to college the Donovans will remain in G'ville. So, I feel real good he's with us at least five more years.

Yeah, loosing Rimmer was a mistake. He's a two to four year program guy. No me, next season boils down to getting Pat Young back for one more year which he desperately needs to work on a jump shot.

  • Rimmer left knowing that he wouldn't see the court for a couple years. It was his choice. JR is going to KU.

judging by who we have coming in next year, i believe Rimmer would have sat his frosh year and played a ton his sophomore year. its disappointing that he couldnt wait his turn.

I agree, but what can you do? Unlike a fellow lifelong Gator fan Dillon Graham, Rimmer was not willing to wait his turn and grind it out...Dillon is and will be a good 4 year Gator

i guess there is not much you can do but Billy needs to somehow get Walker into school in the fall and get a couple of talented bigs for the 2014 season via highschool or transfer b/c we will have alot of playing time to offer for kids. the top 2014 top bigs should be dying to come to UF!

most likely we will have Harris (Center) and DFS (SF). i am assuming walker is gone by then. DFS could be gone too

  • Telep predicts Kansas. Hope he is right. Please, anywhere but UK. Kentucky is assembling an NBA roster next season with all the McDonald's All Americans they have coming in. Our only hope is that they will struggle because of a lack of experience on the team.

I actually would be ok if he ended up at UK. it would make the SEC that much stronger and just think the UK v. UF game next year will have at least 8-12 NBA first round picks!!!

UK --> Randle, Harrison twins, Young, Lee (potentially but prolly not a one and done), and Johnson (same as Lee)

UF --> Young (stays for his senior year IMO), DFS, Hill, and Walker.

plus UK could hypothetically get Poythress and WCS back. IMO Noel and Goodwin are NBA bound for sure.

What a game that would be!!!

The SEC next year should be alot better, i expect Tenn, LSU and Alabama to compete in the the tourney.

KU seems like the logical choice. i bet he ends up there, but UK is right there. good chance they close with either Wiggins or Randle
