Jk I feel ya.

Rather than post threads like his this throughout the year, just note who trolls nonstop and get rid of them and there would be no need for posters to attack them. It's not about a different opinion. It's about constant, nonstop, week in and week out negativity about our team and coaches. They have been run off other sites yet you guys let them post here as long as possible. I know it's a business, but you risk losing a lot of people if u keep letting the vocal minority ruin the site, especially the game threads. If its about the $100 for the year, I'll pay I if it helps trim the fat.

Its real tough when posters completely monopolize a thread by saying something overly negative. It curbs all conversation of the thread to be pointed at that one post. Happens ALL the time

Doubt they want us naming them, but the majority of the posts I see are from 2 or 3 consistently. Of course there are random stupid posts, but those are few and far between. Luke prolly started this thread after receiving a PM from one or two of them who cried to him. Everyone has a bad day or gets emotional and can get a pass for an occasional irrational post. What they are referring to here is the ones who constantly do it. That's why he said, "don't worry about or bring up their past posts" or something to that effect.

Yeah, but 2 or 3 ruin any good conversation on the Board. This is my favorite site, a lot of knowledgable posters. Don't have to guess tea leaves or what a mod knows, but can't tell you.
Another site I'm on doesn't put up with a few idiots. Say what you want about them, but if there is one or two idiots turning every thread into how bad everyone sucks, they get rid of them (and again, I'm not bashing, this is my favorite place).
I checked out the game thread here about a month ago, and it was dominated by one guy saying our coach sucked, OC should be fired, our OL was horrible, our QB should be replaced, our D was overrated, and that we weren't a top 20 program. By the way, this was a game where we beat a top 5 team, Lsu.
Point is, that poster ruined a game thread, turned it into a pissing match, I will never check out another one on here, so I don't see or agree with the "those who respond are as guilty" theme.

So we agree its a simple solution. Get rid of the 2 or 3 vocal minority ruining it. Or would you rather battle the dozens responding on a daily/weekly basis ? You are only making your job more difficult.

Exactly. Not sure what they're afraid of losing those couple, especially the one they know we are all talking about. He brings nothing although makes nice basketball summaries that we already know. I can summarize info as well and act like an insider if it helps them see my value and then if wrong, claim its recruiting, nothing is 100% or claim they were paid.

To suggest that people want uniformity of opinion is ludicrous. One of the things I like best about this site is you are allowed your own opinion, not just what the mods want you to believe. The issue with people like Bullis is he says the same thing, nothing but negatvitiy and insults to our coaches and players, over and over and over and over again. It hijaks threads and makes you not want to even visit the site, even after wins.

Nowhere to go, lol. There is a place. Luke knows where we go. We spend more time here to support him and help the site. Ask him if the "threat" is real. And I never meant it as a threat. It's his site to do as he pleases. I just stated a fact if he wants us who helped this site grow exponentially beyond what he thought it ever could to leave, he can appease B33 and the vocal minority. And it's not me. I'm nobody. I'm just the messenger.

I will never understand the way boards are moderated. They let guys, like sherm for example, stay on the board and say whatever they want, then ask everyone else to adjust to them.

I mean, there's one poster who riles everyone up on football days. I really don't see any other personal attacks. Wouldn't it be easier to tone that poster down? Instead of asking everyone else to adjust?
