  • Jimbos offense sucks...muschamps defense is elite. Muschamps team in one year is a top ten team....Fsu has yet to prove they are worth anything...one decent opponent all year and the overrateds out west let them score over thirty Lol.

  • They got a ton of butthurt SEC overrated threads over there right now. Don't they realize how terrible the ACC is?

Being in the ACC saying the SEC is overrated is like a cook at Applebee's saying a steak from Ruth's Chris is "meh".

  • Can somebody link the game in which Muschamp beat Jimbo? I googled it, but couldn't find it. argue

I all seriousness, Muschamp has exceeded expectations this year, but if he finishes the season 11-2 he will be 18-8 in his first two years at Florida. Jimbo was 19-8 in his first two years. Jimbo inherited a team that had just finished it's 2nd straight 7-6 season and had a defense ranked in the 100's. He has them 9-1, ranked in the top 10, with a top 3 defense. He is doing well.

I think both Jimbo and Muschamp are good coaches, but both still have a lot to prove. Saying one is better than the other right now is stupid.

  • Bobby Bowden was only a figure head in 2009, that is Jimbo's first year! That year was 7-6, so how were they 19-8 in Jimbo's first two years?

You are saying that UF will be 11-2 at the end of this year? Who are you saying beats UF in the bowl game????

That is not even remotely close to being true. Bobby Bowden was the head coach in 2009. Jimbo did not take over until 2010. Jimbo didn't have his coaches in place or all the elements of his program that he implemented when he took over that have made a huge difference.

I think UF finishes 11-2 winning next week. losing at FSU, and winning their bowl game against a Big 10 team.

It's laughable that you guys keep saying jimbo wasn't in control of that team yet when blobby was around. That dude didn't even know what sideline he was on.

  • Haha look at all the noles scared of our defense. And as for your D, nobody cares what it's ranked. You play crap competition, give up 35 to Clemson which is one of their highest points put up ALL season. Lose to garbage NC state offense, and likewise almost lose to a horrible offense this year at VTech. Yes our offense is bad, but our D and ST are insane. Your d is average, with a few stars on the line.

    No.

    FCS Murray St: 4-6
    FCS Sav St: 1-9
    USF: 3-6
    Boson College: 2-8
    VTech: 4-6
    Duke, Wake, Miami- LOL

Muschamp's wins, this season >>>>>> better than Jimbo's.

    CRgator1

  • Muschamp has more wins against Top-25 teams this year alone than Jimbo has in 3 seasons.

  • the amount of talent FSU has is nuts, crazy that Jimbo has managed to lose all those games

I think on paper FSU is the 2nd most talented football team in country

yep. quite possibly. the fact that he insists that he doesnt need an OC is just mindboggling to me. if we had a good OC wed be unstoppable

guys like that that have been calling his own plays for so long will never do that, just like spurrier....his teams could be last in the nation in offense and he still isn't going to let someone else call the plays

pretty much. we have an embarassment of riches at receiver and we play a very vanilla scheme. our oline is nowhere near what it should be either but no changes will be made. he takes his foot off the gas too often and we end up with close games or closes losses instead of going for the kill shot. this is what will keep us from getting to the MNC

Was talking about this last night with a friend, FSU has 4 WR's that would start just about anywhere in the country. And 2 guys who should be unstoppable in the red zone. Then you add in 2 RB's that both are good enough to be the starter and it's shocking that FSU isn't blowing teams out

OL and passive weak ass playcalling. thats the only explanation. top kicker in the country. top 10 defense. offense lets us down and theres only 1 person to blame there

but with the exception of thurs night the OL has been pretty good in pass blocking. They only have given up 13 sacks all year until thurs
