What would be the result if you went back in time and had to fight your dad in his prime ?
It wouldn't be easy for me , I remember my old man being a wild dude.

My dad will probably whoop my tail until he is 75. He was an amateur boxer and when i box him he still whoops my ass. It sucks but he is tough as shit. I got my moves from him so he knows what im going to do anyway lol.

told me a story when he and his buddy went to golden gloves, in the early eighties, there was this guy knocking everybody out in the first round. His buddy ended up fighting the guy and was also knocked out, in the first. It was Mike Tyson. Go figure.

I'm still laughing at what inspired this thread.
My dad was an abusive alcoholic bully. But when I grew up fighting was a required skill. It take me all of about two seconds, but that is a thought I care to shelve and live in forgiveness.
Thread is still really funny to me though.

Funny story..
My Pops used to run a little "hole in the wall, jook joint"..I know some of y'all are familiar with the term.
Anyway, long story short, Pops was the Owner/Bartender/Security Team. I got to witness Security get called one night. Remember being a little nervous, never seeing my Pops go at it. Let alone this was "Doc Roc" who was acting a fool that night. The'Old Man hit Doc Roc six times..that was all she wrote.
Anyway, I'd have trouble with my Pops.

My dad wasn't a fighter in high school. He was a star athlete until he broke his leg in 3 different places his junior year. Ran track against Fred Lynn. I will say this though, about 10 years ago my dads best friend in high school was the president of the Los Angeles chapter of hells angels so I'm guessing he knew how to fight.

If I could fight him on the ground, I believe I stood a good chance with my size and agility, but if the Ol Man stayed upright he had me. He was a SGT in the Korean War in the Signal Corp/Intelligence......RIP father

I'm bigger than my Dad and he used to abuse the shyt out of me as a kid. When I was 13 years old, he was drunk and took a swing and missed. I put him to sleep, and he never touched me again. I'm not sure how I'd do against him in his prime, but I wouldn't be worried. I love and forgive him for beating me senseless as a kid, but he doesn't give me a hint of fear any longer.

My ole man was in the special forces in the US military he was forced to retire due to a broken back and other injuries. But as a young man (18 years old) I thought I was a bad man and tried to square of with my pops one day. It was the shorties fight I have ever been in and the only time I can truly say that I had my ass beat.... When I came to I was back in his house with a black eye, busted lip and my pride hurt. First and last time I ever disrespected him. And from then on i knew the difference between killers and fighters.

My dad isn't a boxer, wasn't in the army or a gang or never fought Tyson. He is just a simple old chicken farmer here in Alabama, with that said he would kill me.

Im 6'1 175 and my dad back in the day was 5''11 225 lbs of prison muscle...I can't even think about fight that dude, I'll probably have to go ahead and pull out the fire. My dad was JACKED TF UP!!!
