just curious about the rules...the SEC title is given to the team that wins the SEC tournament...isnt it a bit unfair that teams like florida, who is at the top of the standings wouldnt win if we blow one game during the tournament? being at the top gives us the #1 seed and easiest way to the finals, but flukes happen more often in basketball...atleast in football, who plays for the conference title is determined with the teams that have won the most conference games. In that sense, isnt there something wrong with the idea that teams like UGA or Vandy that have lost way more times could win if the top teams lose by flukes? do they really deserve to be called "SEC Champions"?
