Some reports beginning to come out on Twitter that FSU cornerback Greg Reid may have been arrested last night.
IraSchoffel: "WCTV reporting that FSU CB Greg Reid was arrested last night in Valdosta. (possession marijuana and driving on suspended license)."
IraSchoffel: "Before everyone piles on Reid, I don't think any media outlet has seen actual police report yet. There's talk marijuana charge may not exist"

What I don't get is how all these athletes have suspended drivers licences in the first place? What did they do to get them, unpaid parking tickets?

very minor charge and not surprising. its no shock that 18-22 year olds are smoking weed. id be willing to bet that 60% of both of our teams like to smoke

i think thats his only arrest since hes been on campus. i know hes been suspended for unnamed reasons and im sure it was weed.
these kids need to learn not to get nailed for dumb stuff like this. he wasnt going to be drafted very highly anyway and this will only hurt him. im surprised the tv station went ahead and said there was a weed charge without having seen the arrest information. kinda bad journalism and its damaging for the individuals. even if its not true, everyone hears the allegation without hearing the truth

i forgot about that one. he was arrested but the case was dropped because he didnt really do anything and TPD was on their usual powertrip.
either way i expect him to get a suspension if theres a weed charge, and if its driving on a suspended license then i douibt he gets anything public. most likely extra time running and stricter rules for himself(more drugtesting, more studyhall)

it has been less under muschamp to this point which is good

correct but perception is reality unfortunately.
the fact that its gone down since muschamp took over is a positive thing. we've had the same success with jimbo. a few morons still do dumb shit and get the boot but its nowhere near as bad as it used to be

Yea, but 30 "arrests" is such a trumped up situation and you even used that line just now. There were maybe half as many kids involved and some were repeated offenders. If it were 30 separate incidents and 30 different kids then we'd have a really different situation.

true. im incorrect as well. it probably was about 12-15 kids doing dumb stuff repeatedly
theres also a difference between being arrested and being found guilty. alot of times kids get arrested and the charges get dismissed or get plead down to nothing
