he was high enough on their board to take this early, but I would have waited on VHIII or Mac.. I also like Wilkerson more as a pure CB.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I would have it VH3, Alexander, Wilkerson, then Bell especially with the coaches only taking 1 or 2 CBs and still having Harris and LM3 out there with limited spot left. It's a great get but too early IMO

IMO they know VHIII will follow his pops and Mac will play with his brother. Wilkerson has the size,speed and cover skills you want at CB..and Bell showed up on the short side.

I feel like the coaches did the right thing by accepting his commitment, he is a great prospect and is rated too low if you take a look at his film. I see him as tied with VH3 as the second best corner on the board behind Mackensie Alexander, who we really need and is the only one I would leave a spot open for. With that said I think because of attrition, we will sign 5 DBs 3-corners 2-safety
Nick Washington DB/CB
Tre Bell CB
Leon McQuay CB
Keanu Neal SS
Marcell Harris FS
Give Marcell Harris and take CB Mackensie worse case-scenario, im just not to high on VH3 as a player, good but not as great to me as people say.

I would take those 5 any day. I agree, I think he is ranked too low also maybe because he plays in NJ? I think Neal is ranked too low also.
