Have you ever been to Manhattan, Kansas? Did you know that K-State's nickname is Silo Tech? Do you even need to guess why?
The only thing Manhattan, Kansas has in common with Manhattan, NY is that both are in the United States although you might question that if you've ever been to Manhattan, Kansas. Manhattan, Kansas is not the end of the earth. There are signs, however, that say End of the Earth 15 miles.

Well, if I'm a high school kid I would actually think about Columbia.
When you think Manhattan, Kansas think of being in the middle of the Everglades only instead of sawgrass you've got wheat fields and no alligators.
