IMO MTnSt gave us a tougher game than Wisconsin. Very good defensive team. They should win their Conference. If Fla could shoot FT's, they would have won by over 30. Need to def work on improving in this area. Will not win the close games missing that many FT's. Good win over a very tough opponent. And, a pretty decent crowd tonight. Love the Forum!

We can improve our FT shooting, but its been better than last year for sure. IN fact, even last season our FT shooting seemed to get much better later in the year. Remember how FT shooting LITERALLY cost us a couple early games last year that we should have won pretty easily?

Our bigs are the guys drawing fouls. They're not going to shoot 80 percent from the FT line unfortunately. We need Wilbekin to be more aggresive to draw fouls in the paint. Rosario can do the same. Boyton is money when we takes it to the rim.

I like that perhaps our best player in Murphy, didn't do much at all today on offense, yet we played great D, found ways to beat their stingy defense in the second half, and won the game easily, without having one of our best scorers play very well at all.

This is a fantastic team on both sides of the ball so far this year. I'm a bit surprised and excited about how well they're playing. We'll find out more in the coming weeks when we play some very good teams in Marquette and Arizona, plus FSU and a couple others I"m forgetting.

Middle was TOUGH! Score not an indicator of just how difficult this game was. The half score was........29-26 UF. They play HARD and damn good defense. Middle was 27-7 last year and I see why.

This is why Billy stresses the fundamentals. When the shots aren't dropping you play defense, hit the boards and play fundamental basketball. Proud of the Gators, few years ago we may have lost a game like this.

I agree with Jeff, this was a much tougher game than Wisc.
