Florida B'ball vs Georgetown

Florida will play Georgetown in J'ville on November 9th on a navy ship!
This is pretty awesome and hopefull Gator fans show up to celebrate our veterans and the team!

Very, very cool! I was hoping UF would play in one of the games played on a navy ship. Really wish we could be there.

Will it have the same format as the naval game played by MSU last season...predominately naval personnel attending with just a small amount of actual UF or GU fans?

Great honor no question for UF to be part of
My concern is recall last yr guys were slipping sliding all over place due to nature of a windswept outdoor hardwood court plus MSU Dawson tore his ACL I recall in game ....not blaming it on court but nervous given we have 2 bigs basically
Hopefully logistically they can make it as safe as possible for kids and get rid of all those Damn paste on logos on hardwood

I also don't like those logos, but Brandon Dawson didn't get hurt until Big Ten play.

Super for Pat Young to get to play in his hometown of Jax. also! Not sure how many tiks they will sell since they already have a large nbr. of Navy personnel on board who will attend. Jax Gators will turn out in mass for sure. Also heard it's the Gators opening game.

You are right about him falling down in the carrier classic, but that wasn't the thing that ended his season. Branden Dawson tore his ACL against Ohio State
