Jason Lieser: Upon his arrest today for grand theft, Jessamen Dunker told police he didn't steal the scooter and had purchased it for $600.

Now reports are coming out that Dunker told the cops that he had actually bought the scooter for $600.
And this can be deleted now.

I hope he has some kind of evidence or the previous owner's confirmation of the sale, and that resolves the issue.
Whether or not the theft charge sticks, he knew he shouldn't have been driving anything on a suspended license.
Gotta hate it when these guys do things like this so close to NSD and top prospects are in town with their folks every weekend.

In all fairness, I drove my first car with no plate for 3 months. I had to wait for the guy to get the title in
Also I bet there are quite a few people that don't realize that their license is suspended. That also happened to me.
I am not saying this is what happened, but def plausible explanations.
