Dawson is an elite/fringe 5* talent IMO...he reminds me so much of Janoris Jenkins. Explosive, athletic, tough/physical prospect with great feet, balance, body control, agility/COD, and overall coordination. Very fluid hips too...not a hint of stiffness or lag in his swivel. High level instincts and awareness with excellent ball skills. Reads run/pass quickly and shows ability to get off blocks. Very aggressive and closes FAST.
Only potential "knocks" on him would be his size/ability to man up on the bigger, taller WRs of the SEC and his aggressiveness/tendency to peek in the backfield which could make him vulnerable to play fakes if he isn't disciplined.
Watching his JR film, I had to keep reminding myself that it was actually just JR film.
