FYI, Those coaches made several elite recruits very average. Might want to consider the coaches and not the kid. Where are those coaches now and what have they done with the likes of Jernigan, Edwards etc...well they have become very average and in the ACC to boot.

I would say he has turned Jernigan into a pretty good player. Edwards was a freshmen who was supposed to redshirt this year because he needed to lose 10-15 pounds. Edwards had a great game holding the edge against Georgia tech.

When at the beginning of the year fsu had 3 projected 1st round draft picks at defensive end. Then Jenkins got hurt and we had no choice but to play Edwards. Fsu was going into this year with Jenkins, tank, and werner. With newberry being the 4th de there was no pressing need to waste a year of eligibility.
