I UV'd what u said because I agree and see it happening BUT I think he is overrated. I do not think he is a top 100 player. His Junior film was absolutely nasty but when I saw him actually play two full games this year I came away unimpressed. I know he doesn't play Linebacker but a player I compare him to (ceiling wise and from the way he plays the game) is Brandon Siler. Brandon Siler was a really good COLLEGE linebacker and had a nice go in the NFL but injuries slowed him a lot, so thats not to say Walker wont be really good, I just don't think he is a playmaker like some think he is. His weakness is rushing the passer as an END. He doesn't have long arms for his height and he is probably closer to 6'2 than a true 6'3 pushing 6'4 as some think. I have seen him in person 4 or 5 times and he is a really stout, strong build and isn't built for speed. I also liken him to Siler because he DOES indeed have a really nice VOCAL leadership quality to himself. He will get up in his teammates face and get them straight if they are playing like sh*t. Thing is, he disappears in HS games a lot. I know he lost a lot of weight, and he looked a lot quicker at UA and that just shows me what kind of worker he was, kid lost at least 30 pounds from the summer to this past month. He will not stay that small (240 ish) when he gets in a college strength program and I still think he ends up playing inside with his hand down. He just isnt an elite pass rusher and thats what UF needs. Of course we really wanted DWalk, he is a solid solid cant miss type of prospect bc you know he has a great work ethic and has leadership qualities but I take Daniel or Jones over him 10 times out of 10. They are BUILT and tooled to rush the passer. Even more so than Fowler and Bull. We lack that LONG small forward type pass rusher who can beat a lineman off snap, DISRUPT PASSING LANES WITH HIS ARMS and stay away from OLmen by punching with those long arms. Last two times we played for titles we had a menacing 6'7 type playing DE who HAD to be accounted for.

Disagree. LOL. He has solid player written all over him. I don't think he should ever be confused with a "BEAST" though. He doesn't even live up to his listed measurables and isn't super athletic or long. He is closer to 6'2 or 6'1 and a three quarters than 6'3" and will play around 280. He got his weight down a lot which shows he has work ethic and I think he got to the QB a few times (hurrys) in the UA game but he is a bit inconsistent.

No, you'd rather go for a school that wins 3 SEC games over, what was it 3 years, and whose last SEC title pre-dates desegregation?

That would be because you dont have the luxury to. If a four star guys tells you he is taking visits you have to suck it up, because his back up plan is a 3 star or lower, while other programs can tell him to go pound sand and replace him with someone just as good or better. ie Powell, Rod Johnson (which he came to his senses), and many more.
