I think there are probably 3 spots left which leaves me to believe that we take one at each of the following positions:
1. RB/FB: I think that the coaches really want Collins and it's easy to see why but if we dont get him then I think thats when we turn to Swanson and add a FB in this class
2. D line: I think that there is really only one more spot available for all of the d line and the coaches are currently working on Daniel Adams as takes no matter what and then Reed, Hatcher, and Scrooge are all in the same category and maybe take depending on the feel from the first two (I think Bostwick will go Juco).
3. WR: I still feel like the coaches want to get one more WR which is our biggest question mark heading into next year. Obviously the coaches would love to get either Treadwell, Demarcus Robinson, or Coley(which might have to go Juco) also. Then I think they are gonna slow play Clark to see what these other ones do and if they actually visit.
FInally the only real +1 at another position that I feel we have a legitimate shot with is Mackensie Alexander which would be the final piece to the No Fly Zone and would take away one of the spots above
We are sitting in a great position and the future is looking bright
"You're not a good guy, you go somewhere else. We'll play you. We'll beat you."
1. Robinson (not even close to #2)
2. Collins (think he's a complete back ready to compete)
5. Not Swanson, please no scholly for him
Swanson is an athlete period!
Jalen ramsey still an option?
Are you guys the favorites for Collins now? Our mods are making it seem like we are still the favorites. If you guys pulled him that would be an amazing job by Muschamp.
We will know more by next weekend.
Robinson or Clark
Probably need a decommit to take those 4. Most likely Hearns, wish it was Powell though.
Me too, but we'll go past 25.
We have plenty of room. Between Floyd going pro, walk-ons not getting their scholarships renewed, Patchan and Brown being done, and Debose, that's 6 open spots...and we didn't even start "processing" kids yet.
Replacement #1: Clark
Replacement #2: Collins
Lose Hearns to OSU
I love this class so I really can careless who else we add I just really want a flat out speed demon brought in to strictly handle the return game!!! Occasionally make and incredible play on offense aswell.
No need for our best player on special teams and I'll say best corner in Purifoy to be smacked like he did against FSU. His fearless persona can be dangerous for him and the defense. Get a speed demon that can return kicks and im good!!!
if Hearns flips to OSU do we get Trey Johnson?
scrape the sides up...
Don't think they'll affect each other OSU is bare at LB they even made their FB last year their starting MLB (but he turned out to be a beast) and don't have a single LB in this class yet. They are lined up for Mike Mitchell and a few JUCOs, but if I had to guess I'd say they put the full court press on Trey Johnson (and Hearns but he sticks). Choppa was a big loss for them
I meant Robinson haha. Yes I chose Hatcher over Collins. Feel like we need more help on the edge rushing the passer than a 3rd rb.
Walk softly but carry a big stick.
COLLINS IS ELITE! NOT SURE HATCHER IS ELITE GOOD PLAYER THOUGH....
Listen, I'm all good with taking Collins for obvious reasons, he's a talented mofo. But we also have two other elite rbs already committed. As far as our defense, the one thing that seemed to be missing this year was a pass rushing specialist off the edge. If given the choice I would take Daniel and Hatcher over Collins. If we didn't have Lane and Taylor already in, then I take Collins over Hatcher. Though Daniel takes precedent over Collins. Recent news doesn't seem too positive thoughts regarding Daniel, hopefully that changes. Just my opinion.
Not real sure our guys think Miami is still his final destination
This list is more of a wish
Once we get some consistent pressure from the DE in our system..WATCH THE F-OUT. Ease was our leader in sacks and he missed 2 games and played out of position so that tells the story of our pass rusher. Loved that we unleashed Bostic and Jenkins more this year so getting better rushing LB like JPowell,Taylor, Ball and JJ in the mix next year will only help. Not even getting into what will happen if RoPo and DFJ reach their potential.
We get his last visit before the dead period, and we keep hearing that he loves UF and our coaches. I think we're in the driver's seat personally, but we'll see soon enough.
Winningest Program in College Football since 1990!
I would love to end the class with Daniels, Alexander, Collins, Robinson, and Scrooge
