so put a&m in their place this weekend. This is their Super Bowl if you read anything they write, and if they win, you won't hear the end of it for years, literally. Good luck (glad this weird group is now the SEC's problem. Hook'em.
Their fans are.... odd.
"Won't hear the end of it"? Not likely. First and foremost, they'd have to learn to read and write.
Not that there's anything wrong with having confidence, why in the world would you piss off an already hungry football team? Especially using a billboard?
Wish TOS longhorn fans would post the flame aggie Friday thread on here.
Based on results to date, I'd think that Texas fans would be thanking us for "taking" Muschamp off their hands, not acting all bitter.
Gunga galunga...gunga -- gunga galunga
If you go on their boards (and I mean ShaggyBevo), most of them are thankful he is no longer "coach in waiting". I have seen many posts of whorns saying they think he is overrated and disorganized. They dropped from 49th to 33rd in Scoring D under Diaz despite giving up slightly more yards.

Not sure about disorganized, but I have no qualms with the overrated moniker at present. Long way to go in our season, however, and hopefully my gloominess is misguided ajada.
I can just tell you that many Aggies were hoping he would be the next coach at t.u. and were very surprised when Florida hired him. But maybe we were wrong.
I know what you are saying. We have to fleece them into their position in the SEC. They aint gonna like where they shake out....
1. I live in Houston and have numerous Aggie friends and business acquaintances. The vast majority of them are extremely nice people (obviously there are exceptions, but every fan base does) and have said nothing in regards to this game being the Superbowl or have made any indication that there would be a bunch of smack talk should they win. They are pleasant and humble fans....at least to me. Are they proud of their alma mater? Sure. Should they be? Sure. They have a tradition rich program and, quite frankly, I wish our school had the same tradition and passion for the program. Heck, they get more people out for their midnight yell than we get for our spring game. We're not even filling up the stadium right now, which I never could've imagined when I was going to school in the 90's. Shameful. They've had plenty of mediocre seasons in recent years, yet still pack that stadium for every game.
2. When we hired Muschamp I did a lot of looking around on the Horn's boards for reaction. From what I remember, the vast majority of fans were upset that they were losing "Boom." There were numerous posts about how this was bound to happen and what a good coach he was/is. I'm surprised to hear now that we did y'all a favor by taking him off of your hands. It's amazing the difference a year can make though.
I'll be at the game this weekend and the only problem I have is trying to figure out how I'm going to fulfill all the invitations to tailgates that I've received from Aggies. I'm glad their part of the SEC now and think they'll be a great addition.
As a Texas Ex, I was disappointed in losing Muschamp the DC not Muschamp the HCIW (head coach in waiting).
I never thought it was a good idea to promise a guy with no head coaching experience the job but he turned the defense around for the most part.
Enjoy the aggie tailgates, if they lose they won't be as pleasant afterward.
Disorganized.... I see that. Sadly.
¡Hala Florida !
I love the fact that another fanbase claims this is our Super Bowl. They seems to say this about every big game we play in or any rival game we play in.
We leave their conference and they continue to follow us. It never ends.
I have heard no Aggies refer to this as our "Super Bowl." Excited about first game in the SEC, yes.
It is funny to see a Texas fan on here. They claim they don't care about A&M leaving and they come over to a Florida site to rag on A&M. They are obsessed about A&M's move to the SEC. At one point, there were 10 threads on OrangeBloods about A&M and am sure there are quite a few on Hookem.
They can be arrogant when they're playing Wyoming and New Mexico, etc. etc.
Hope any of you that made the trip to College Station enjoy your visit.
You're way too nice. GTFO with that kindness!
Living in Houston I know how true this statement is....
