Maybe rest of season....I don't think it is that bad (season ending) but it could be.....really bad luck with injuries last 2 seasons
Oh boy .
Can he redshirt if he could not return??
Also it just goes to show you that you need depth and bodies to withstand injuries! Two years in a row we are paper thin in the front court. That can't happen, no excuses. Now our top backup will be a 6'6 SF playing PF.
This really hurts.
He has already played too much this season for that
Instead of a 6'7' SF playing PF?
Yeguete is a true PF. He's undersized for sure, but he's not playing out of position.
Hopefully he wont miss the rest of the year that would be a serious blow to our tournament potential. With Will im comfortable with playing most teams, without Will I would be more concerned with matchups come tourney time

i just am upset that are team is thin in the frontcourt and will be next year if we dont get randle and young doesnt return. we need 4 bigs. not having cody kills us and this is on the staff not fixing the lack of depth problem.
Is it really thinner next year, though?
What is actually wrong with Yeguete?any word on what the injury is?
Sucks i wish UK would actually have a few injuries on there team to a couple of the frosh. Coach Cal is the luckiest man in the world during his 4 year tenure at UK. he has had a very thin team every year and not one single significant injury! lucky a**
Think it's poor form to wish injury on anybody, but to answer your question, Yeguete has been dealing with knee tendinitis for weeks. He tweaked the knee at Arkansas.
Finney-Smith is a SF and i hope he does not end up playing too much PF next year. he is the SF we have been missing since brewer.
Yes we have Harris(coming off an injury and needs work) Yeguete and a true frosh in walker. its not as bad as the last years but would like to see one big man added to use in practice.
UK is our rival Thomas and i am not wishing anything. let me re-phrase they are due to have a few injuries to some of there key players. they cant ride on luck forever. its just tough to see our team go through so many injuries especially a position we dont have alot of depth in. but its basketball, just gotta accept it.
Next season: Yeguette, Harris, Finney-Smith, Walker.
Thats 4 bigs.
DFS is a SF and was brought in to play SF!!
Yea DFS is a three IMO. Next year's big rotation looks like it will be WY, Walker, & Harris...unless Young decides to come back.
My point is DFS is more suited to play in the frontcourt for a few minutes at a time than Prather, which is what Florida is forced to do with Yeguete hurt. Deeper, and I don't think that's debatable.
Well, that hurts the teams chances for a deep run in my opinion. Don't see anyone on the bench that can replace his rebounding and defense. Was hoping this wouldn't be the case with his injury but can't say I'm surprised by this news. Tendonitis? I don't think so.
Anyone have confirmed information? Or is this just speculation
