Multiple sources are reporting now. Big pick-up for the Knights to go along with Michael Chandler. Big-time upset for Donnie Jones and UCF.
That's also a huge blow for UT, UGA and GT on the recruiting trail.
Hope this means Knight is staying at UK. If he and Jones stay....UNC won't be helped by Barnes staying. :)
Kevin Ware was supposed to be part of a package deal to UCLA ... his AAU coach from the Atlanta Celtics to UCLA as the assistant coach who replaced Scott Duncan. I don't know which is more surprising ... that UCLA didn't get him or that he's going to UCF.
It's a great job of recruiting by Donnie Jones, who now has the pieces falling into place that will allow him to compete for the Conference USA title next year. Chandler is a rebounding machine and Ware is a serious open court defensive player. Put him together with Marcus Jordan and the front end of a press looks really good.
As for Knight and Jones ... still think they're going to go. Kentucky will be good next year no matter. So will North Carolina.

good for donnie I guess, its war on recruiting trail, I cant be happy for any of BD's assistants if it means we arent getting guys we want, a stronger UCF = weaker UF potentially down the line
Chandler, even though he is a headcase, is a legit 5* talent, wouldve been good for us in the post next to P Young, instead we are desperate for late signing period scraps in terms of post prospects for 2011 and/or hoping Larsons/Murphy are able to get out of their legal issues, relatively unscathed
Crazy how Donnie is able to sign some serious top 50 talent to UCF though
