...per our partner, CBSSports.com, Will Yeguete will be limited tonight with a knee injury -- if he even plays. Florida banged up going into the SEC opener.

I heard Murphy was cleared to play, though. That true?
God I hope so otherwise we are going to be thin.
Read and lock.
...despite his broken ribs, Florida just announced.
its getting kinda annoying with all the injuries. i know they are apart of the game but it just seems Florida is hit with the injury bug every year while UK is not.
Also can billy please sign some big men. we literally have no depth and that is on him! next year we will be thin as well barring getting Randle or Young coming back. every year we are dangerously thin at some position. gotta get fixed.
How many big guys do you think we should have?
We have 3 on the roster…I hope u aren't implying that is enough lol
We have 4, and will have 5 next year assuming Young goes pro.
So I'll ask again, how many do you think we should have?

Paging Cody Larson....can't believe I just typed that ....sucks kid took a valuable scholly ...couldve had a nice serviceable Rs Soph big on the roster instead who could at least give us some min rebounding /fouling , letting starters rest + help make PYs practice time more impactful ...SMDH to quit right before season starts
He didn't take a scholarship up this year though. He was playing as a walk on this year.
We really have 3
Young, yeguete, murphy…that's it. Not sure who u count as number 4. And 5 would be fine even though your numbers are one off.
Prather plays the 4 a good amount. His best minutes have come at the 4.
I think it's also crazy you think 5 is just "fine." The team that one that NC last year had 5 and that's with the very average Vargas. Billy D tends to go with an 8 man rotation.
Anyway, my main point is that your declaration of us being dangerously thin there is kind of ridic.
we are dangerously thin with injuries. we def could have used one more big on this roster. Prather is a 3/4 combo. very undersized to play the 4.
Yeguette is an undersized 4 as well. Yes we could have def used another 6'9 big man on this team. next year we only have Walker as a true frosh and Harris who is a transfer coming off a shoulder injury. we still have yeguette and DFS is a 3 all the way. i do not want him to pay the 4 next year. he could play it in a pinch but he a 3 all the way. we need another big in the 2013 class of young to stay. otherwise we are an injury away from problems inside.
I think too many people have unreasonable expectations for big men depth. Yes, obviously we are going to be thin after there are injuries. Sure we could use another big guy next year, but it's not going to ruin our season if we don't.
Prather plays the 4 because he isn't a good enough offensive player to play the 3...he is 6'6" and very athletic, was recruited to play the 3 but his offense hasn't developed enough to play there. He is effective at the 4 against these crappy teams but let's see how he does against a legit 6'8" 240 lb 4 later in the season.
5 is fine. What else is there to say lol
We are dangerously thin with 3 bigs as you saw in the tourny last year. Yeguete got hurt and we really missed him. When you have one sun between your 4/5 position that's not good, anybody who knows anything about basketball will agree with me. Just like two years ago when we only had 3 guards, any injury or ineffective player would have crippled the team.
