Any word on what seems to be attitude or some type of issue with him? Have read several things about his being benched to start the game and not having a good practice week following the Ark loss. Know he had the issue early in the season also but up until this year have never heard any issues with him.
Donovan has control of it. He knows how to get to his players and make them do what he wants.
I'll have more in a story in a bit. Don't think it's any major issue. Donovan didn't like the way he was running the offense the last two games, taking 30 shots between the two. Then he didn't like the way Wilbekin practiced on Thursday, and he didn't fix it Friday, so he benched him.

Don't doubt that at all; just didn't expect it from him.
Donovan also knows his players. He knows who he can bench and they will be strive more and he knows who if he benches they might stew and get worse. Thus Donovan might have benched a player who would react the right way and at the same time sent a message to his entire team. Given that Wilbekin played the most minutes against MSU, I would think Donovan made his point to his entire team.
Let's not make a mountain out of a molehill. There's not a Wilbekin problem.
Gunga galunga...gunga -- gunga galunga
He still led the team in minutes played yesterday.
Billy is notorious for being really tough on his point guards. I'm are it's nothing more than some tough love.
Didn't say there was; just asking due to the circumstances. He is one of my fav players on team bc he always hustles and plays hard.
Just a little Billy motivational moment, that's all. No issues on the team except gotta get everybody back to 100%! Gonna be a huge battle Tuesday night in the O without big Will & Casey at 100%. Need Casey to really come on strong Tues.
Encouraged by the play of Prather and MFII; will serve us well come tourney time when we also get yuegette back.
I was answering your question. It was apparent in the article all this was - a temporary glitch beig addressed; no reason to try to dig deeper iyam by asking if there's new news on what you think "seems to be attitude or some type of issue with him."
my apologies if my question didnt suit you.
Some guys that play point know exactly when to shoot and what kind of shots are best for the team.
Scottie is 19 and still learning.
No harm no foul.
Bout what I figured just thought I'd ask; thanks. I like his play at the point and yeah he was shooting more jumpers/3's a few games. I do like it though when he penetrates and tries to score or dish.
