We are legion (of jerks). We do not forgive. We do not forget.
junior high is not journalism
He had his fans, and he also had his haters.
It's still the same.
Not all of us, but its cool
This was an interesting thread - for the first 4 pages then it just turned into a lot more butthurt
My testimony as a fan: I was an OSU fan that hated Meyer and UF for exposing a fat, lazy team that had already awarded themselves a national championship. It took a few months to sink in but it was easy to see the Florida was 'hungrier' that was the cliche that I recall, and more prepared. The only other time I recall hating Meyer was when he outworked Tressel for Floyd (a very solid lineman for being broken, btw).
i was stoked when he was hired b/c it meant an immediate 180 for a legitimately broken program (probation and a losing record justifies the term). I truly became a fan while at Reds a game only to see Meyer and his son throw out the first pitch. Then I heard Meyer talk about meeting Pete Rose before the game and fulfilling a childhood dream of meeting the Hit King. FWIW, Pete told Meyer's boy that winning is what makes playing sports fun. Insinuate what you will but I think every fan of a program with tradition can agree to that.

You can say that about most coaches. I'm sure his haters were jumping up and down when yall were hoistin trophies
jack, your ass is raw, because you, and everyone else who follows college football knows, that tsun has no chance of beating TOSU as long as meyer is there. that's what pisses you off enormously.
Your words, not mine.
somebody help me.
Spurrier is a UF alum, wins the Heisman, coaches at UF and wins a NC, now coaches against UF in the same conference.
Meyer nas no ties to UF, wins 2 NC's in 4 years, leaves the program.
Meyer is vilified; Spurrier seems to get a free pass. why? I would think having a former Heisman winner and coach end up coaching against you is far more offensive than any perceived problems caused by Meyer.
I'm not sure why quoting the number of arrests under a coach who had to resign because his team got away from him is a good argument. Can someone please enlighten me?
yeah it is and I'm defining them
Ah. I guess Brady Hoke and company should just quit, then, because "BuckeyeinGa2003" said that they have no chance of winning The Game.
Get over yourself. You guys think you are invincible, when I see a team that can easily be toppled by the juggernaut Hoke is building.
Sorry I made you upset. I'll consider changing it so I can help you sleep better at night.
Where is Buttmunch at?
Killing SCUM just to watch it die!!!!....."De Oppresso Libre"
For the team sure.
For how spurrier left things when he went to the NFL. Urban left to spend time with family then months later was right back in. I am grateful for the good he did but the way he left and things he let happen before he did, it bothered every gator fan.
Listened to it. She doesn't strike me as having the panic a wife would have if her husband is having a damned heart attack.
A 911 call made from Urban Meyer's home early on Dec. 6 reveals that Florida's coach was rushed to the hospital by ambulance after complaining of chest pains and a tingling sensation on his side.
Munching butt, I guess.
Delusions of grandeur step back from the bar there bud just say no!!!!
