Heard some interesting things this morning. Nothing groundbreaking.
Staff feels like they are peaking at the right time this year. Feels that if last year signing day was a few days earlier, they would of closed on a few more kids. Said these last 2 "non contact" or "silent" days are not what I was thinking. He said coaches are living on their phones talking to HS coaches, parents, recruits, everyone. He said coaches will not sleep on Tuesday night or at least sleep with their phones by their side and it is a war at the last second to make sure they werent mislead or no one is stolen at the last second.
He feels they add 4-5 more, but emphasized that this late, there is a lot of misinformation out there. Some coaches will be left shocked and pissed at the last second. Said it is about finding who is closest to the kids and who the real decision makers are this year. They feel they identified that this year, we will know soon enough.
I've seen months and months and hundreds of post about these "silent" recruits who are going to shock us all. I will say that if the answer isnt Bostwick, then my guy is the best liar in the world. Bostwick committed to the coaches months ago. Obvioulsy I, nor these coaches have any idea if he is doing that with other coaches, but the coaches have liked their position for months, possibly before the season even started, and that why they were happy all year when the kid didnt really get involved in the recruiting process.
For all you that guessed all these huge names rated in the top 10... I tried warning you....
The staff knows what Clark is doing.....
I asked about Ramsey, was just told "we are cautiously optimistic, and need Wednesday to get here quick".
Again, nothing hge, just thought I would pass on.....
First, thanks for the tribute, LOL
Winningest Program in College Football since 1990!
Brown noser, lol. And lol at Jeff using "some tidbits".
Thanks man! +1
OMG real INFO
The post fired me up.....Love that these coaches have the killer instinct. They aren't sleeping. They will need coffee and as we were reminded yesterday "Coffee is for closers."
"You're not a good guy, you go somewhere else. We'll play you. We'll beat you."
Up votes for Jeff2727!
So if Cark and Bostwock are in and Ramsey is 50/50 who are the other two?
Thanks Jeff, appreciate the info. One quick question - have you heard anything about Tyren Jones? I heard that bama told him he would have to gray shirt and believe we were in the running before he committed there.
LORD FORGIVE ME FOR THE GOON DADDY IS COMING OUT TONIGHT
KISS.....KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID
My bad, I forgot all about them. His guess was Bower was 60/40 to us. He has told UF that it's only between us and Auburn.
2 weeks ago we were sure we were getting Reed. Last Wefnesday we were sure we weren't. Then on Saturday, we are feeling good again. We will see
No way we get him, he visited bama twice........
Yes, but what was he told on that visit?
Good stuff Jeff
I was being sarcastic.
I told a few people that we looked good for him even though he was a "Bama lock".
If Bostwick pulls the trigger for UF, I'll stop being mean to Coach Young.
Yeah, I mean, I think it's clear he wanted Bama first and foremost. But, hey, I don't care how we get 'em, as long as we get 'em.
Upvoted. Great stuff, jeff.

Hey SammyW, no 3 stars!
Wasn't T-Rob the one that pulled him in?
Bostwick has been singing Young's praises in all of the articles lately. I think T-Rob might be his "area recruiter," but I think Young's the guy he and his family are closest with.
