I wish everybody would go back and watch tape of the 04s as freshmen. I would have never thought Noah would amount to much. Don't judge freshmen on what they do coming off the bench cold fir 1.5 mins.
Of course I'm not talking to you Jeff. Just agreeing with you.
Best to wait until we see him play real/meaningful minutes before evaluating. Way too early for that.
Thats like saying I was a god because I was 3 for 3 from behind the arc and 4/5 from the freethrow line my freshman year in HS basketball...
Beatings will continue until morale improves
yeah I agree it's too early to say the kid isn't going to be a player. All I'm saying is I've liked Graham, Walker, Frazier more... Braxton could be great though, who knows.

And, the next game if you went 0 for 3 behind the arc & 2 for 5 on free throws, some on this board would call you a WEAK freshman & others on here would say now we see why you don't play much cause you're a frosh & they're not impressed!! Now I wouldn't call you out like that, especially if you came off the bench in the last 2-3 minutes stone cold or if you turned the ball over one time - in my book, you wouldn't qualify as a turnover machine!
Just say'n - depends on who's shoes your in, understand the game & can see the entire big picture. In just a minute or two or from one game to the next, you can go from being called God to Garbage on here my man!
im not saying braxton is garbage. he just appears to need some work, which all freshman do, before he can contribute.
To be honest, i was never impressed with USMC Gator's game in the first place. He seldomly crashes the board, weak on boxing out, doesnt fight through picks, lazy transition defense and rarely looks to make the extra pass.
He is garbage!
Ohhh let's doooo it
ooorrrannngeeee and bluuueee it
All the freshman need to continue to work hard & learn the system, make the transition both physically & mentally. Even the veterans struggle at times, but they don't quit & push thru when they do struggle. What I like about this team is when someone may have an off or average night, others compensate & more than make up the difference & get the win. Good chemistry & balance will get you a long way in basketball, even without a superstar on the floor!
