...all the way up from No. 22 in the last edition.
Cards on the table, I expected there to be some seismic shakeups between Big Board 2.0 and 3.0, because: a) the combine presented a chance to see these guys up close; and b) my personal intake of prospects' game films increased exponentially after the Super Bowl.

kid is special. Hope he lives up to the hype in the NFL.
He's made huge moves on everyone's board. Top 5 for sure.
No Cain, no gain.
I think Floyd was even underrated by Gator fans before his Combine. He was truly dominant, even if his stats didn't necessarily reflect that.
And I like Mingo over Jones. Jones's medicals worry me a bit. Would be thrilled with Jordan or Mingo at 9 for the Jets.
With KC tagging OT Braden Albert they could move Floyd to the top of their board. Rumor that Cleveland is trying to move up to #1 to select Floyd bc Oakland and Philly could take him.
Maybe this is homerish, but I don't think it's crazy for Floyd to go #1.
It's not like there's a clear #1 in this draft, especially after Joeckel looked like doo-doo at the Combine. Fisher was by far more impressive...
At the same time, I don't think tagging Albert signifies too much. He can still play RT...
Moving down would be wise for KC with all their holes. Picking up some picks and maybe a OL in FA. They have no talent at DT so I could see them holding steady and picking Floyd.
Who will trade up? Like SU said, there's nobody a clear #1 that a team would trade up for. KC is stuck picking at #1, unless they take something ridiculous like a 4th round pick to move down, and that ain't happening.
SU, I have been saying the same thing on Floyd for weeks. He is the most versatile DT in the entire draft, plays with a mean steak, is a physical freak, and has the maturity and work ethic to always get better. He'll be a pro bowl DT within 3 years, just wait and see.
Winningest Program in College Football since 1990!
Goons belong in hockey.
While I agree that this draft has NO one player that is "clear #1" teams look at their needs and play "their" board not who some talking heads have ranked #1 coming out of college or after the combine...... Rumor has Cleveland looking to move up ahead of Oakland so it's either 1 or 2. Floyd won't be around at 6 when they pick.
