Winningest Program in College Football since 1990!
durkin did special teams
young did d-line
i would pick either one of those as new DC.
Are you so shure he doesn't want a MNC under his belt and try for a HC college job in the future?
Cause he is close with that endevor.
My thoughts as well, I could see Quinn turning down an offer and staying in College.
You guys are crazy if you don't think losing Quinn would be a big deal. Yes, having Champ as our head coach means we have a defensive mind running things, and we will always have a good D with him here, but you guys are underestimating Quinn.
Not only would it hurt with schemes, but Quinn has become the "good cop" these players go to also. Not quite the level of C Strong, but close.

See, this is why I'm proud that my head is planted firmly right up your...
Goons belong in hockey.
Thanks Jeff, I had no idea of that but I know that Quinn is one of the nicest dude's I've ever seen. Do you think he'll stay?
I really have no idea. I hope not though.
I like Quinn because our DL got measurably better the last two years.
First call... Lovie Smith.
Wait, why do you hope he doesnt stay?
I meant I hope he doesn't leave. My bad
If DQ does jump do you think Champ promotes Durkin or looks to the NFL again?
This is just my opinion, but if Durkin isn't our DC soon, he will be someone else's.
But I really have no idea what they would do to be honest.
Great stuff, Jeff. Thanks for the insight!

Wouldn't you agree TG?
My opinion is we wouldn't feel it recruiting so much, but more with player development and overall defense, agree?
No doubt. And maybe I'm off base, but I don't think Durkin turned down a HC job and possibly numerous other DC offers without some sort of understanding he'd be Quinn's replacement.
Said the same thing yesterday. Don't think you're going to find another coach who can work with the defensive line the way Quinn does. The development there has been phenomenal in the two years he's been there.
so now the eagles got their HC do they really push for quinn if kelly likes the idea? guess we'll find out soon
Then we could just call up the Zooker for ST coach!! I kid, I kid.
Doubt it, this was great news for us, IMO. The coach they got is definitely not the one we were worried about.
