Is this the NEXT GREAT GROUP OF FLORIDA RECEIVERS???
Me thinkey YES.
Don't forget about Bailey, gonna be hard to stack the box with those guys on the outside and Bailey in the slot!
Winningest Program in College Football since 1990!
Lord I hope so
LORD FORGIVE ME FOR THE GOON DADDY IS COMING OUT TONIGHT
Too bad Burton will prob be starting again in the Slot
If Hawkins can get it together with AB and CT in tha slot.We are going to have a good group of WR.
Don't sleep on Raph, either. The competition is gonna be fierce. Shyt's about to get real this offseason.
I agree, Raph is definitely in the mix. It looks like we finally get to "reset" at that position, and I believe that will be a very good thing.
The Gators need receivers more then anybody so it's a good decision by the guy. Great job of recruiting to make this difficult switch take place.
Goons belong in hockey.
I'm just going to stay cautiously optimistic about our WR's. Believe they become a great group of WR's when I see it. We've been burned by too many highly rated WR's in recent years for me to get TOO excited.
No one even mentioned Dunbar in this thread
Bailey looked pretty electric in the UA game the other day.
Think Dunbar improved as well..
So are we officially dismissing Andre DeBose
Honestly we haven't landed a top WR in about 2 years.
When was the last guy like Drob we landed? Chad Jackson? It's been a long time, because this guy can catch way outside of his frame. He would have made the catch that Debose missed for the pick 6, IMO. He and Fulwood on either side will be trouble, and stop them from doubling or stacking the box.
Chad Jackson isn't right, either, because D-Rob is bigger and plays bigger. Carl Moore would be a comparison if D-Rob were already arthritic and couldn't do anything but catch 45-yard corner routes and get hurt.
I genuinely don't know what the right Florida comp for D-Rob is, and I've been thinking about it.

what is the chance that Pitt gets switched to S/DB? wasn't there talk about how good of a prospect he was there last year? with our lack of depth...could we see him switch...especially with the caliber of WR we have coming in?
No WR talent plus 3 top safety prospects coming in equals Pitt staying at WR.
You're smoking crack if you think any WR would have caught the opening pass that JD threw for the pick 6 against UL. That was a 90 mph fastball that was at least 4 feet behind Debose. Be realistic.
JD needs to improve. If he improves the WR unit improves. Pocket awareness, progressions and learning how to look his WR open. Otherwise it doesn't matter who is playing at WR
Other WR's wouldn't have ran the wrong route in the first place.
