Not as bad as I thought it was after watching the game on tv
Brissett had a pretty clean pocket all day
Bottom line you have to score touchdowns when you get those opportunities
Heard WM post game interview. He told Pease to dumb it down after lead so not to make any mistakes and get La. back in the game. Said had game in hand. Limited aggressive play calling from mid 3rd qtr til end of game.
We left a lot of points on the field and killed ourselves with dumb mistakes. I hope the boys have some fire in their bellies this week
yeah, I think the biggest issue was red zone execution. It would have been 34-0 if we got TDs there, which sounds a lot better than 23-0.
I think we passed it more in the red zone to get reps for Brissett, and he was just out of sync with the receivers on some throws.
To stay on the positive side here, if you examine each of games this year, the offense has moved the ball and scored when absolutely had to have it -- with exception of Reed's fumble inside the 10 against UGA. Really, turnovers were the whole story against UGA, not necessarily the playcalling.
Point being -- when the coaches know our backs are against the wall, it gets dialed in. We don't have the capability to make style points so we aren't even attempting it.
Okay that's enough O&B sunshine pumping for me
Yeah the timing was off
He made a few mistakes
Made a few bad decisions
Forced some balls
But he made some nice throws too
I feel like yesterday was a tough game for Pease every time Brissett would get in a flow he would go Wildcat or start running just made no sense to me.
Sorry ment JAX State. Tired from trip back from Gainesville today.
